I'm sure this was probably already commented on, but I am really impressed with this concert. I jumped right to the third set and The Other One was fantastically done (but I swear the singing was not timed properly. Anyway, the sound just sounds better when the guys are together. Ratdog and Phil Lesh and Friends/Buddies/Pals to me just don't sound as good.

I would be interested in the Deadheads for Obama T shirt, even if only for the novelty. Now that he's got momentum for the nomination, I want to know more about specific policy issues.

I wish McCain had won in 2000,he would have done a better job than GW ( hell, who wouldn't have?) but I might just be a Deadhead for Obama this time.

As far as the music goes, I'll be happy for them when they play together if they are having a good time. I'm over the thought that any reunion scenario will bring back the feeling of days gone by.

I liked the show too. In fact, I like pretty much all the Ratdog and Phil & Friends stuff. But I'll never love any GD music played without Garcia.

Well, it'll never be the same. But if they had a guitarist that was confident enough to take the lead, or not always have to wait for direction from the older boys, they could be more interesting.

The guitarist in the show just had cancer treatments, but they had a tendency to go on too long. Jerry would have just taken the lead, at least mostly before his re-relapses.

Sharing the vocals on Jerry songs took some of the focus off the missing man; seemed like a good approach.
